VERDANT WARD AUDIO — THE GREENWARD OATH Produced for this project on 2026-10-10. Composition and arrangement Original 32-bar, 4/4, D-minor fantasy score at 96 BPM (80 seconds). Two synchronized arrangements: battle and exploration. No existing song, YouTube audio, or third-party melody was copied or used as a reference. Original layered sound design: 15 cue types, 41 rendered WAV variations. Recorded instrument source VS Chamber Orchestra 2: Community Edition (VSCO 2 CE). Recorded by Sam Gossner and Simon Dalzell. Sample cutting by Elan Hickler / Soundemote. Publisher: Versilian Studios. https://versilian-studios.com/vsco-community/ https://github.com/sgossner/VSCO-2-CE The source sample library is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal. The complete license is in VSCO-CC0-LICENSE.txt. The official publisher page explicitly permits commercial use, modification and reuse without royalties or signup. Attribution is included voluntarily. The exact source paths, source blob hashes, downloaded-file SHA-256 hashes, and retrieval date are recorded in sample-provenance.json. The score uses recorded harp, flute, French horn, violin and viola sections, cello spiccato, pizzicato double bass, orchestral bass drum, snare, suspended cymbal and glockenspiel. The SFX combine transformed CC0 percussion/bell recordings with original filtered-noise, resonant-body and acoustic-string DSP layers. TimGM6mb was inspected during source research but is NOT used. No external AI music generation, purchases or account creation were used. Loop and playback Both music files are exactly 3,840,000 decoded stereo frames at 48,000 Hz. Loop start 0.000000 seconds; loop end 80.000000 seconds, end-exclusive. They share tempo, musical timeline and phrase boundaries. Crossfade moods while preserving the current modulo-80-second playback position. OGG Vorbis is the preferred seamless source. MP3 includes Xing/LAME gapless metadata; verify decoded buffer duration before assuming identical padding. The musical arrangement and stereo room tails wrap periodically. Do not add an end fade to looping music. A short gain ramp is appropriate on stop. Build source compose_score.py, create_effects.py and master_and_verify.py are the local reproducible source. the-greenward-oath.mid and score-events.json describe the score. Lossless 24-bit masters and eight float stems are retained in this production directory for deterministic recording and further mixing.
